Fifth Grade Student Leadership
Our fifth grade leadership team helps organize events such as Red Ribbon Week, Food Drive, Hygiene Drive, Goals Week, 100th School Day, Dr. Seuss Celebration and Cougar Pride Week. The students make decisions on themes and activities for each event. They are responsible for advertising their event with posters and announcements. They do the work of collecting donations, counting and packing the truck for the donations. They are in charge of the activities that happen during their event such as leading the school in ....
Junior Librarians
Our junior librarians help Mrs. Higgins by checking in books, putting away books, getting books ready for discard, sharping pencils, and .... Mrs. Higgins made applications available for students who were interested in December and selected 24 students to help in the library during their recess one day a week. There were so many applications selected that she divided the Junior Librarians into two groups for the remaining two trimesters. We are grateful for students who are willing to give of their time to help serve and make our school better.
